DIRECTIONS

Situated at Cheltenham’s world-renowned Racecourse, The Centaur lies only a mile north of the town centre.

Trains
Trains to Cheltenham Spa run from Paddington Station in London, generally every hour, with a journey time of just over 2 hours for a direct train. Trains from New Street Station in Birmingham run approximately every half hour and take about 35 minutes to reach Cheltenham. From Bristol Temple Meads, trains leave every hour or so and also take about 35 minutes. Ten minutes should be allowed to reach The Centaur from Cheltenham Spa station by taxi.

Planes
Birmingham and Bristol airports provide an excellent service to both national and international destinations.

For private flights, Gloucestershire Airport is conveniently situated at Staverton – immediately west of the M5 by junction 11. There is also a helipad at the Racecourse.

Cars
Driving to Cheltenham takes approximately an hour and three-quarters from central London along the M40 and A40. Journey times from Birmingham (via exit 9 or 10 of the M5) and from Bristol (via exit 11 of the M5) should normally take fractionally less than an hour. Follow the signs to the Racecourse – when you arrive you’ll find 12,500 free parking spaces to choose from.
